Hey, I’m Matt!

I’m a full-time artist based in Ireland with over 20 years of experience — from doodles to photorealism. Over the last decade, I’ve built an online community of nearly 8 million people by sharing my passion for drawing.

My coloured pencil portraits are what brought me here — along with collaborations with brands like Epic Games, Amazon, Pokémon GO!, and YouTube. But what excites me most is passing that knowledge on to you.

As a self-taught artist, I’ve learned what truly works (and what doesn’t). Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, this course will give you the tools and techniques to create incredible coloured pencil portraits.
